ZLAN5443D is a rail-mounted, RS485 4-serial serial server/Modbus gateway with opto-decoupling isolation, which can effectively isolate the impact of interference on the RS485 bus on the operation of the device and ensure the stability of the device. It is suitable for use in environments where RS485 bus interference is present. Built-in power lightning protection, 9~24V wide voltage, terminal type power access, with shell grounding wire.

ZLAN5443D is designed with a rail type with a rail buckle on the back, and also has two mounting ears on it, which can be mounted horizontally or vertically, which are suitable for mounting on the back plate or desktop.

ZLAN5443D can realize the conversion of 4 channels TCP/IP protocol to RS485, 4 channels work at the same time and can be configured for different baud rates. The data collection of 485 devices can be realized through the network, and the network terminal can use the virtual serial port to connect the serial port software or the software of direct TCP/IP communication. It comes with two 10M/100M network ports, which can be connected to any network port. The other network port can realize the cascade of multiple ZLAN5443D through the network cable, which can be cascaded into 8 serial ports, 12 serial ports, and 16 serial ports.

ZLAN5443D supports the Modbus RTU to Modbus TCP conversion function, and has the characteristics of a storage-based Modbus gateway. Of course, it can also be used as a non-storage Modbus gateway.

A typical application connection is shown in the diagram. The original serial port device and the serial port connection of the ZLAN5443D, the 5443D is connected to the computer through a network cable. The software on the computer establishes a connection with the 5443D through TCP/IP or virtual serial port. Thereafter, any data sent by the serial device will be transparently transmitted to the computer's software, and the data sent by the software to the ZLAN5443D through the network will also be transparently transmitted to the serial device.

• The 4-way serial port can be configured for different baud rates, working independently and without interfering with each other.
