Description: The 1756-A17 chassis is a ControlLogix series chassis from Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. It has 5 mounting tabs on the top and 5 additional mounting tabs on the bottom. The 1756-A17 ControlLogix chassis can be used with or without SEM screws, but the presence or absence of SEM screws will determine how much and what kinds of other hardware that the chassis needs. With SEM screws, the 1756-A17 chassis needs 5 Phillips screws, 5 flat washers, 5 split-lock washers, and 5 SEM screws, and without SEM screws, the chassis needs 10 Phillips screws, 5 flat washers, 5 split-lock washers, and 5 star washers. The 1756-A17 ControlLogix chassis can operate safely at 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit and it has no enclosure.
